Resurfacing endoprosthesis represents a new and special design and approach to hip replacement. By this method bone structure is maximally preserved, and only damaged articulation surface is removed. This prosthesis allows walking with full weight-bearing immediately after the procedure and preserves anathomy of the hip for future hip replacements, therefore being appropriate for young and middle aged patients.
